A full, powerful, well balanced and complex whisky with aromas of sweet sherry, liquorice root, raisins, figs, plums, cherries, cinnamon, ginger, pepper, star anise, subtle tannins, red apple, forest honey, stewed apple, coffee, leather, old books, spicy oak, old rope, hint of salt, cinnamon, earthy tones, toffee, brown sugar, brownies, smocked ham, marmalade and creamy oak.
A log and slightly drying finish with aromas of forest honey, caramel, chocolate, toffee, orange peels, soft bitter tannins, star anise, candied ginger, bitter orange marmalade, mocha and spicy oak.
