SPECTATOR CAP TOE BROGUES TAN BEIGE 7G UK MADE IN ENGLAND FOR TYRWHITT EXCELLENT.
Superb pair of shoes made in England for shirtmaker Charles Tyrwhitt of London.
‘English tan’ toe, heel and tongue with antique beige/ivory mid section.
Labelled as U.K. 7 G they measure approximately 27.5 cm at longest internal length and 9 to 9.5 cm at the widest internal point.
I’m selling these on behalf of an acquaintance and can say after inspection that these have probably only been worn a dozen or so times (this concurs with what I was told).
The leather is of a very good quality and has never had coloured polish or coloured cream applied to it!
The construction is excellent with a high TPI stitch on uppers and a deep channel welt on a thick leather sole.
Brogue punching is clean and tidy (not full of polish and dirt) even showing some feint machine marks that should be covered with first cream treatment.
Charles Tyrwhitt (to my knowledge) do not make shoes but have them made under license. Research has taught me that these could have been made by any one of Northampton’s finer shoemakers, but lining colour makes me suspect this pair are by Barker, Loake or Grenson.
I have used enlarged photos to show them in their true condition.
Will be posted boxed (not original) and professionally packaged.
PLEASE STUDY ALL PHOTOS BEFORE BUYING.
SHOE TREES NOT INCLUDED IN THE SALE.
ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE ASK.
Thanks for looking.
