This Gilda Belin poster (Ref no. 6243) was printed by Verkerke in Holland. It has no tears or damage, as it was laminated in the 1980s.
Gilda Belin memorabilia of this era is highly collectable, difficult to come by, and are considered art pieces in their own right. Given its large format, it would look incredible framed and hung in a contemporary home or business.
With her astonishing work revered since the 1970s, Gilda Belin is known for her realistic fashion fetishist airbrush renderings. To this day her work in the 80's serves as inspiration for artists, makeup artists and hair designers the world over. This is a genuine Verkerke print which was produced in 1981,  titled "Lady of light and fire". It has come from a large repository of vintage 70s and 80s posters found in the basement of an Parisian poster and T-shirt store that closed in 1990!
